QPS Engineering AG (see imprint) runs Architectless and is responsible for the processing described here. We process as little as we need to run the service and do not sell data.
What we process
- Without an account: your conversation and plan stay in your browser. To answer, the messages and attached plans go through our servers to the language model and are not kept beyond processing (at most one hour for a plan being read). A daily usage counter is kept per IP address, stored only as a keyed hash.
- With an account: your e-mail address, your projects (plans, their earlier states, the conversation with Mags) and the files you attach. Sign-in works with a link or code by e-mail; we store no password.
- Operating data: technical logs (time, route, status, errors) without the content of your plans, files or messages.
Service providers
- Railway (hosting, database and file storage); the application runs in Railway's EU West region.
- OpenAI (language and vision model that powers Mags and the plan reader). Requests are sent with storage switched off; OpenAI may keep them for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring under its API terms.
- Resend (sign-in e-mails).
Some of these providers are based in the USA; transfers rely on the providers' contractual safeguards.
How long
Projects and files stay until you delete them. Deleting a project removes its plans, conversation and files; deleting your account (account menu) removes everything at once. Usage counters are kept for 90 days.
Business contacts
To introduce Architectless to firms, we use public entries in the Swiss commercial register (Zefix) and the contact details a firm publishes on its own website (name, address, general e-mail, activities). We write to a firm at most once per address and domain. Every such mail has a link to unsubscribe; after that, or after a short reply, we never write to that address again and keep it only on a block list for that purpose.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to processing. Write to info@qpsag.com. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
